Pivot Solar wasn't started with outside money, private equity, or a bank loan. Our team built this company from the ground up — which means we don't answer to shareholders, investors, or anyone whose priority is squeezing out margin. We answer to our customers. That's not a tagline; it's the reason this company exists.
A team that's done the job — every part of it.
Our team didn't start in a corner office. We started in the field — face-to-face, human interaction. Over the years, we've worked every level of this industry: canvassing, in-home consulting, sales management, permitting and install coordination, and financing. We've also spent time on the other side of the business — helping roofing and solar companies build their solar divisions from scratch, setting up permitting, utility coordination, financing partnerships, and the day-to-day systems that make a solar company actually run well.

Our founder has been selling solar since 2019 — with more than 500 installs completed and over $50 million in revenue managed across sales districts and consulting engagements. That experience means we've seen what works, what doesn't, and what it actually takes to get a solar project done right: on time, on budget, and without the runaround.

Hunter started at the very bottom — knocking doors as a canvasser in 2018 — and earned his way up every rung. Within a year he was the country's top residential solar rep, then rose to district sales manager: $54M+ in managed revenue, 450+ customers helped, and the youngest district manager in his company's history.
He has developed training systems across seven markets in Colorado and Texas, built solar divisions from the ground up, and provided consulting on sales strategy and pricing. Pivot Solar represents the culmination of over eight years of experience across every facet of the solar industry.
